Rachel+Donald
If I had one word to describe Rachel and Donald’s wedding, it would have to be genuine. From start to finish this was such a genuine wedding. Their love for each other was so palpably simple, and real. If you feel like these images are giving you déjå vu, you are not the only one! I shot Jacob and Katrina’s wedding at the same venue, almost exactly a year ago. This lovely old church in MillBay, Vancouver Island, is so charming. After the ceremony all the friends and family mingled and laughed together. Then we headed out to Cherry Point Beach, for portraits and some more laughs. The outdoor reception was prepared by family and friends, and was so perfectly casual. This was such a unique and lovely wedding, and I’m so excited for Rachel and Donald as they head into this new chapter of their lives.
