Nick+Claire
Nick and Claire were married at St. Andrews Cathedral in Victoria B.C. I have always wanted to shoot a wedding in this cathedral. It’s a gorgeous venue right smack in the middle of downtown Victoria. Nick and Claire’s wedding was perfectly elegant and effortless. When I walked into the cathedral foyer, before the ceremony began, you could just feel the warmth that the gathered family and friends had for this couple. After the ceremony, we headed over to Beacon Hill park for portraits. Beacon Hill park is one of my all time favourite spots in Victoria so again, I thought their choice was perfect. We had a great time laughing and enjoying the hot July weather, before heading back to the reception. Friends and family of the couple had pulled together to decorate and set up the entire hall, and it looked fantastic. This was such a lovely simple wedding that drew all the focus onto what matters most, our loved ones.
